WeTransfer and Matty Matheson partner for ‘Cookin’ Somethin’ for College’
A first-of-its-kind free digital cookbook
NEW YORK - 29 October, 2023 - Canadian chef, restaurateur, executive producer Matty Matheson, famous for his role in the Golden Globe and EMMY-nominated series ‘The Bear’ has collaborated with WeTransfer to release an exclusive digital cookbook titled ‘Cookin' Somethin' for College.’
Intended for students and the wider public to improve their cooking skills –whether a novice, or experienced chef – the collection of twelve original yet straightforward recipes is available globally for free now at MattyMatheson.WeTransfer.com
Included are easy to make staples with a creative twist like the Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich, Peanut Butter Instant Noodles, B.B.Q Chicken Enchiladas, and more.
- This initiative represents a fresh approach by WeTransfer to achieve greater awareness for its file transferring services as a distribution platform for creators and its focus on championing creativity on a global scale. The platform has allocated 30% of its advertising inventory to support creatives and donates 1% of its revenue to emerging artists through The Supporting Act Foundation. - To accompany the cookbook, Matty will demonstrate how to cook 4 of the dishes in the 12-episode original series entitled ‘Cookin Somethin’’ which will be available to view on Matty Matheson’s YouTube channel (1.29M Subscribers).
- For this creative endeavor, WeTransfer gave Matty full creative control on the storytelling content, while acting as a platform for his community to watch and own his recipes for free.
- Matty Matheson worked closely with the creator age media company, Made in Network, to conceptualize and produce the book, as well as all content supporting the launch.
