WeTransfer launches innovative new brand campaign ft. Jungle
‘Think It. Make It. Move It.’ explores turning ideas from concept to reality via first-of-its-kind partnership
AMSTERDAM, March 28, 2023—WeTransfer has been loved by creative professionals as the easiest way to share content for over a decade. Now, with its latest global campaign ‘Think It. Make It. Move It.’, WeTransfer encourages creators everywhere to put their ideas—any idea—into action.
‘Think It. Make It. Move It.’—WeTransfer’s first campaign fully produced by the company’s in-house creative studio, explores how ideas become reality: whether it's PDFs or entire musical albums, WeTransfer is the easiest way to move those ideas, wherever they need to go. Anchoring the campaign’s cast of creatives is beloved independent British producer duo Jungle, with whom WeTransfer has collaborated on their highly-anticipated forthcoming album “Volcano,” announced today and released on August 11, and the making of which is showcased in the campaign.
For the release of Jungle’s highly-anticipated fourth studio album “Volcano,” the collaboration sees a first-of-its-kind, immersive interactive campaign that will live on junglejunglejungle.wetransfer.com where fans during a limited period will be able to download exclusive digital content for free. This is inspired by the organic creator activity WeTransfer has seen for the past decade, particularly from music artists, ranging from Prince to SAULT, who have used WeTransfer as a trusted distribution platform to share music and other related content with their fans.
Think It. Make It. Move It.
“What makes WeTransfer different is how we have worked together with the creative community since our inception to facilitate the movement of ideas. Being an enabler—as a tool and media platform, as an Oscar-winning commissioner, as an overall supporter of creativity—and doing it responsibly - is the inspiration behind everything we do. Working with Jungle on their entire album has been no different in this respect. From featuring their creative process in our campaign to helping them distribute exclusive content via WeTransfer to their fans for free, this collaboration celebrates the business of creativity and how artists engage with their audience”, said Angelique Temple, Chief Marketing Officer of WeTransfer.
These digital drops break down the barrier between artist and fan, allowing the fans personal access into the artist’s creative process, giving them the tools to reinterpret the artist’s works in ways most important to them. Starting with the release of Jungle’s first single 'Candle Flame'—the first ‘drop’ constitutes a downloadable art pack featuring exclusive artwork, desktop, mobile wallpapers, social media profile images and ringtone.
British producer duo, Jungle says, "As a project that's always pushing the boundaries of our creative process, WeTransfer has been an essential tool for us. With the ability to easily upload stems, share large picture and video files, and collaborate with other creatives on the platform, WeTransfer has helped us streamline our workflow and take our music-making to the next level. It's not just about the convenience of the platform, but also the community of like-minded artists that we've connected with through WeTransfer."
Record It
The campaign exemplifies WeTransfer’s long standing relationship with artists across music, art and technology, and the creators who continue to fuel the platform’s ecosystem. From the simplest way to share content, into providing a whole range of tools and features that streamline the creative workflow. In 2018, the brand went beyond just enabling the collaboration and distribution of content, to creating an Oscar-winning in-house commissioning arm, WePresent.
Since its founding in 2009, WeTransfer has donated up to 30% of its advertising space to support artists and social causes. In 2021, WeTransfer launched The Supporting Act Foundation, committing 1% of revenue each year to support the next generation of creatives.
‘Think It. Make It. Move It’ is unveiled globally online today and via out-of-home in key US creative markets Austin, Denver and Portland. The campaign will continue to evolve via digital, social, print and cinema placements throughout the spring and summer months.
