We’re remixing WeTransfer’s subscription plans, combining the best of the old with some fresh ideas. Highlights include WeTransfer’s most affordable plan ever, expanded access to powerful features, and the introduction of monthly limits for the Free plan.

We’re ushering in the new year with a good, ol’ fashioned remix.

No, we’re not talking about a nostalgic yet upbeat rewind of our favorite 2000s boy band tracks (this time).

Instead, we’re remixing WeTransfer’s subscription plans. 😎

We’ve combined the best of the old with some fresh ideas: Highlights include WeTransfer’s most affordable plan ever, expanded access to powerful features, and the introduction of monthly limits for the Free plan.

Here’s everything you need to know about what’s changing—and what’s staying the same.

WeTransfer Free

The perfect starting point for occasional users or anyone exploring WeTransfer for the first time.

What’s new?

Premium features, unlocked. These include unlimited portals, reviews, and file requests and password protection for every transfer. Plus, no more fees on paid transfers.
Increased file size limit. You can now send files up to 3GB in size (increased from 2GB).
Monthly transfers cap. Going forward, free users can complete up to 10 transfers and share up to 3GB-worth of files every month.

What’s the same? As always, our Free plan is 100% free.

WeTransfer Starter

A brand-new plan for those who need to send big files a few times a week, without breaking the bank—at just $6.99 per month, it’s our most affordable plan ever.

What’s new? The whole plan! WeTransfer Starter is a brand new option for those who want more power than the Free plan, but don’t really need a fully unlimited experience. In addition to 10 monthly transfers and the many advanced features included in the Free plan, Starter includes a higher monthly upload limit (300GB vs 3GB in the Free plan).

WeTransfer Ultimate

The ultimate choice for power users who send big files all day, every day.

What’s new? Mostly just the name. 🙃 To streamline our offering, we merged our former top tier plans (Pro and Premium) into a single unlimited option: WeTransfer Ultimate.

What’s the same? Everything else. Ultimate has all the perks and unlimited freedom that came with the former Premium plan.
